Inside Sales Representative

Archway Electrical Sales is a manufacturer's rep firm covering the greater St. Louis territory, including parts of Illinois and Missouri. We represent some of the strongest names in the electrical industry, including Eaton and Panduit, and we're known in our territory for a team with real depth of experience and real relationships with the distributors and contractors we serve. Role Mission This role exists to be the reliable, responsive backbone of every quote, order, and follow-up for our assigned product lines, so our distributor and manufacturer partners across the territory never have to wonder where things stand. Who We Are Looking For We're adding capacity for growth, which means we need someone who can step in, learn our lines quickly, and start carrying real weight without a long runway. You'll fit in well here if you: Build relationships easily and follow through Move with a sense of urgency and don't let things sit Take ownership of your work and your mistakes Stay sharp on details when things get busy Can juggle multiple priorities across different manufacturers and customers without dropping the ball Responsibilities & Expectations Quote and order accuracy: Prepare and process all quotations, including special pricing agreements and stock pricing, for your assigned product lines, and enter all customer orders with full accuracy. Customer responsiveness: Answer all customer inquiries that come in by phone or digital platform, and keep response times fast enough that customers never have to follow up twice. Order expediting: Track and expedite orders proactively so customers get status updates before they have to ask. Inventory partnership: Work with management and the warehouse team to keep proper stock levels for your assigned manufacturers. Literature and collateral: Keep product literature current and stocked for your assigned lines. Product knowledge: Build and maintain working knowledge of every product line you're assigned, and show up for manufacturer training when it's offered. Account relationships: Build ongoing relationships with distributors, manufacturers, and Archway/FRM personnel across the territory, and resolve post-sale issues without needing a manager to step in. Sales growth: Spot cross-sell and upsell opportunities on open quotes, and support the outside sales team's efforts in the territory. Required Experience & Skills Required: High school diploma or equivalent Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities at once Good problem-solving and time management skills Professional demeanor and a track record of acting with integrity Preferred: 1 to 3+ years of inside sales, counter sales, or customer service experience in electrical or construction trades Knowledge of the electrical industry or manufacturer rep agency practices Familiarity with CRM software or industry-specific ERP systems (such as Eclipse or Solar) Technical trade or business background #J-18808-Ljbffr Archway Electrical Sales
