Press Brake OperatorA press brake operator uses a press brake to shape, bend, or cut metal into parts for tools, equipment, and other components.ResponsibilitiesSet up the press brake by reading blueprints, selecting the right tooling, and determining the working tonnage and tool position.Operate the press brake by programming it and making test bends to correct errors.Inspect the finished product for defects and ensure it meets quality standards.Perform routine maintenance on the press brake and ensure it is stocked with materials.Keep the work area clean and organized.Ensure there are enough raw materials available.Essential SkillsExperience with press brake operation.Blueprint reading.Programming the press brake.Troubleshooting and changeover skills.Machine operation including lathe and mill setup.Ability to use calipers and tape measure.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a similar role is advantageous.Why Work Here?Join a fast-growing company that values its employees highly.
