Registered Nurse (RN) - Interventional Radiology

Registered Nurse Moderate Sedation

Schedule: 36 or 40 hours per week, days, 10 or 12 hour shifts, with on-call for weekends and nights.

Assignment Details: Guaranteed hours available.

Requirements:

• RN License (New York License ONLY)
• Moderate Sedation Experience Required
• Interventional Radiology Experience Required
• Two (2) years of experience OR experience in a Level 1 trauma center preferred
• Telemetry experience required
• Ability to administer and monitor conscious sedation independently

Responsibilities:

• Provide moderate sedation in a fast-paced procedural area for patients undergoing preventative and interventional stroke care.
• Administer moderate sedation and monitor patients' cardiac and physical status.
• Collaborate with physicians to ensure safety, comfort, and privacy during procedures.
• Circulate when not providing moderate sedation.
