Location: Houston, TX — On-site. This is an in-person opportunity where you'll work closely with our team and gain hands-on exposure to our accounting operations.

Note : Must have at least 1+ year of accounting experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and/or account reconciliation experience. Candidates should also be comfortable working with Excel or Google Sheets and interested in using AI and automation tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Job Description

• Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Perform bank, account, and general ledger reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Support invoicing, collections, vendor payments, and related accounting workflows.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records within QuickBooks and/or ERP systems.
• Use Excel, Google Sheets, OCR, AI tools, and automation to streamline repetitive accounting tasks.
• Identify discrepancies, errors, and opportunities to improve accounting processes.
• Assist with day-to-day accounting activities while following established procedures and internal controls.
• Collaborate with team members to keep financial information timely, accurate, and well organized.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of accounting experience with AP, AR, and/or reconciliations.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable working with Excel and/or Google Sheets.
• QuickBooks or ERP experience is a plus.
• Interest in AI, automation, and technology-enabled accounting workflows.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage recurring deadlines.
• Early-career accounting professionals and recent graduates with relevant hands-on experience are encouraged to apply.
