Operations Associate

Your Role in Our Story: In essence, your role involves:Work with the Finance and Credit teams to complete the deal processFacilitate timely product delivery to clients and from vendors with a high degree of accuracyEnsure accurate information on every transaction and help create management reportsPartner with clients and vendors regarding their accounts to resolve any account/invoice discrepanciesCoordinate with the internal credit team to ensure client and vendor account balances are in good standing before deliveries are completeInternal contract preparation and external contract review, related to transaction detailsMonitor & follow up with internal and external parties to ensure contract execution and accuracySupport month-end close activitiesOwn quarterly transaction reporting & reconciliationsPartner with auditors for annual audits & reportingContribute as a thought partner in documenting and creating new policies and procedures for the Operations teamWork collaboratively across teams to address evolving needsThis position requires coming into the New York office at least four times a week.Your Expertise: To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:2-4 years of working experience in trade operations, accounting, or reportingDynamic, “out-of-the-box” problem solverHighly self-motivated person who thrives in a driven work environment and demonstrates a flexible and adaptable work style that responds quicklyTakes ownership for decisions and is accountable for actions regardless of the outcomeA mature professional with excellent judgment and interpersonal skillsBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related fieldPlease note: this role is 100% in-office in New York CityThe base pay range for this position is $90,000-$120,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
