2nd Shift Diesel MechanicJoin Waste Connections as a Diesel Mechanic and keep our fleet running strong! We're hiring experienced techs to perform maintenance and repairs on garbage trucks—covering everything from hydraulics and electrical to engine systems. This is a hands-on, outdoor role for someone who takes pride in their work and values safety.What We Offer:$24–$30/hour based on experience$150/month tool allowance + annual boot stipendFull benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K match, Life Insurance)Consistent hours: 50–60 hrs/week, Sun–Thur. + some SaturdaysYear-round stability + safety-first cultureWhat You'll Do:Perform preventative maintenance & inspectionsDiagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and engine issuesHandle on-road breakdowns and emergency callsKeep shop clean, organized, and safeAccurately document all work performedRequirements:3+ years of diesel or heavy truck experienceKnowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systemsASE cert and CDL (A or B) a strong plusReliable, hard-working, and safety-mindedComfortable working outdoors in all weatherWaste Connections is an equal opportunity employer.
