We are looking for an organized Office Assistant to support daily administrative operations in Abilene, Texas. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming front-office experience while keeping clerical tasks accurate and on schedule. The role includes assisting visitors, managing incoming calls, and handling document processing in a busy work environment.

Responsibilities:
• Welcome visitors professionally and provide front-desk support throughout the day
• Answer inbound phone calls, direct inquiries to the appropriate contacts, and take accurate messages when needed
• Scan, organize, and maintain paper and digital records to support office documentation needs
• Perform a variety of clerical duties such as filing, data organization, and general administrative assistance
• Help maintain smooth daily office operations by supporting staff with routine administrative requests
• Follow the assigned work schedule, which may include shifts Monday through Saturday
• Coordinate arrival check-in procedures for visitors or contractors as directed by onsite leadership

• Previous experience in an office assistant, receptionist, or administrative support role

• Comfortable handling inbound calls in a courteous and attentive manner

• Ability to scan, file, and organize documents with strong attention to detail

• Solid clerical skills, including recordkeeping and general office support

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with visitors and team members

• Reliable time management skills and flexibility to work a varying schedule Monday–Saturday, with Saturday availability required

• Ability to work independently while following site-specific procedures and supervisor guidance
