About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in high acuity postpartum care License: Active compact license required Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: - High-risk obstetric care experience - Experience with magnesium sulfate therapy - Proficiency in EPIC charting system Description: This position involves providing care in a large volume, high census facility. The focus is on postpartum treatment following delivery after pregnancy. The patient population is diverse and includes high-risk obstetric patients. Nurses must be prepared to manage a census surge, including handling a fourth couplet. Experience with postpartum hemorrhage and substance withdrawal cases is essential. The role requires flexibility to float between various units and locations as needed. Weekend shifts are a requirement, with six weekend days per contract. Travelers must complete required modules and any necessary additional training. Candidates will be expected to work three of the five major holidays during their contract. References from recent experience are required prior to start.
