Job Description The Hotel Director of Sales and Marketing leads the hotel's sales and marketing initiatives, focusing primarily on leisure and tourism clients. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role manages a small team and develops strategies to maximize market presence and revenue. The Director oversees marketing campaigns, sales strategies, event coordination, and contract negotiations to drive business growth and maintain client relationships. Responsibilities Develop and execute sales strategies targeting leisure and tourism segments Lead marketing campaigns to increase brand visibility and market share Manage a sales and marketing team of fewer than 10 members Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities Coordinate events and catering sales in a full-service hotel environment Manage local negotiated rate plans and respond to Requests for Proposal (RFPs) Utilize Delphi software for sales and event management Prepare sales reports and performance metrics for senior management Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing within the hospitality industry Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field Demonstrated skills in sales strategy and marketing management Strong team leadership and customer relationship management abilities Proficient in market analysis, brand management, communication, and negotiation Company Description Bowden Hospitality is an owner and operator of the best hotel brands with over 40 years in hotel ownership and franchise hospitality environments.
