Description – What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and complex clinical lab tests—ranging from chemistry and hematology to immunology and beyond—following established guidelines.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and perform routine maintenance and calibration on laboratory devices.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Meticulously document all processes, coach new staff or students, and maintain lab quality standards.
• Ensure a sanitized, safe work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, culminating in preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within your first year of employment.
• Ongoing maintenance of current certification throughout your employment is mandatory.
