High growth Equity + Competitive Salary and Benefits Growth Opportunities Job Details We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Accounting Manager or Controller (DOE) with retail electricity provider experience to join our team! Responsibilities Oversee daily accounting operations. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Perform account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance. Develop, implement, and maintain budgeting and forecasting systems, ensuring alignment with the company's financial goals. Prepare accurate and timely journal entries, ensuring the integrity of financial data. Review financial data for accuracy, correctness, and completeness. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency. Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations. Provide leadership and support to accounts receivable and payable departments. Identify opportunities for process improvements to optimize the financial output of the company. Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial accounting role. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is preferred. Proficient in multiple ERPs + Advanced Excel skills. Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
