Senior Accountant – Manufacturing (Medical Device & Aerospace) Compensation: $90,000–$120,000 Base Salary + Bonus + 401(k) Match + Excellent Benefits About the Company Our client is a highly respected precision CNC manufacturing company serving the medical device and aerospace industries. With a reputation for exceptional quality, tight tolerances, and advanced manufacturing capabilities, they partner with many of the industry's leading OEMs to produce mission‑critical components. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a Senior Accountant to their accounting team. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands‑on manufacturing environment and wants broad exposure across accounting, operations, inventory, and financial reporting. Position Overview Reporting directly to senior leadership, the Senior Accountant will play a key role in the monthly close process, financial reporting, inventory accounting, cost analysis, and operational finance. This individual will work closely with manufacturing, purchasing, operations, and executive leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting while helping drive process improvements across the organization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and enjoys partnering with multiple departments. Responsibilities Lead month‑end and year‑end close activities Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial records Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory, and production variances Assist with inventory accounting, cycle counts, and physical inventories Support standard costing, cost roll‑ups, and margin analysis Prepare monthly financial reporting packages for leadership Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting Partner with operations, purchasing, and production teams to improve financial processes Support annual audit and tax preparation Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting controls Identify opportunities for automation and continuous process improvement Assist with special projects and ad hoc financial analysis Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 4–8+ years of progressive accounting experience Manufacturing accounting experience strongly preferred Experience within CNC machining, aerospace, medical device, industrial manufacturing, or precision manufacturing is highly desirable Strong understanding of inventory accounting and cost accounting Experience with ERP systems (JobBOSS, Epicor, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar) Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities CPA or CPA‑track is a plus, but not required Annual performance bonus 401(k) with company match Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid vacation and holidays Strong long‑term career growth opportunities Stable, growing company with an excellent leadership team If you're looking for an opportunity to join a thriving precision manufacturing company where you'll have meaningful exposure to both accounting and operations, we'd love to speak with you. #J-18808-Ljbffr GJL Partners
