Job Details Location: Prentiss Creek at Downers Grove Apartments, Downers Grove, IL 60516 Position type: Full Time, 30-40 hours per week Salary: $23.00 – $25.00 hourly Travel: Up to 25% Role Overview As a Leasing Consultant, you will respond to inquiries and leads from prospective tenants, market, lease, and renew apartment leases in accordance with company standards and Fair Housing guidelines, while delivering excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Ensure daily marketing, administrative, and financial operations of the property under the direction of the Community Manager. Maintain a strong understanding of the community, local market, and competitor specials and floor plans. Have comprehensive knowledge of leasing units and documents per company standards and Fair Housing guidelines. Process lease application paperwork for approval and prepare new lease contracts. Inspect show units in advance and tour prospects, including vacant, model, and amenity areas. Inspect pre-leased apartments before move-in and communicate any concerns to the Service Manager or Community Manager. Utilize and promote all third‑party online leasing programs. Log all prospect information accurately in the property management software. Check, respond to, and document community emails, voicemails, and text messages. Stay current with promotion and leasing incentives. Complete the MoveOutVacant Inspection Checklist (MOVIC) accurately and on time. Post notices to vacate and other community communications as needed. Assist with daily community inspections and ensure policies are followed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in a customer-facing or customer-service role. Demonstrated sales and closing skills. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work with a diverse group of people. State leasing license or ability to obtain required license(s) within the timeframe required by law. Work Schedule Monday–Friday.
