Litigation Associate

The successful candidate will work closely with partners and senior associates on a wide range of litigation matters, representing clients in state and federal courts as well as alternative dispute resolution proceedings. Duties/Responsibilities Conduct legal research and analysis on complex legal issues related to ongoing and potential litigation matters. Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents for submission to courts and opposing counsel. Prepare for and attend court appearances, including hearings, depositions, and trials. Communicate with clients to provide updates on case developments and advise them on legal strategies and potential outcomes. Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and ensure that deadlines are met. Participate in mediation, arbitration, and settlement negotiations to resolve disputes outside of court. Review and analyze documents, including contracts, emails, and other evidence relevant to litigation matters. Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation. Required Skills/Abilities Licensed to practice law in Ohio. 5-10 years of experience in litigation. Excellent analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills. High level of professionalism and ethical standards. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
