Marketing Director

Pay Range: $19-$21/hour (Part-Time or Full-Time options) Qualifications: 3 years Marketing experience or Bachelors Degree Organizational Imperatives: ( List the factors that define & truly differentiate this position from all other positions; what absolute, unique things should this position fulfill that no other does) Oversees all aspects of local store marketing; delegating specific tasks, but responsible for the overall success of the marketing team Communicate weekly/daily/as needed with scheduling leaders on marketing needs. Ex. upcoming promotions, spirit nights, cow appearances, food distribution etc... Oversee promotions that will help increase customer count. Ex. Family Nights, Breakfast promotions Focus on Creating Emotional Connections with guests. Build the business through relationships, not discounting. Ex. Daddy Daughter Date Night, Valentine's Dinner, being in the Dining Room Cultivate relationships with schools and community organizations (PTA Presidents, Principals, Chamber of Commerce, Business of the Day contacts) Catering - responsible for developing, organizing and entering school orders, developing relationships, delivering orders (as needed/when necessary). Ensuring thank you notes get sent out at the end of each month to all catering customers Contact person for major outside Brand Building Events . Ex. 5K Race, Wheeler Football, etc. Discuss past events and meet with each organization to discuss future involvement. Assist with new POP (Point of Purchase) displays. Responsible for getting new POP out in a timely manner, before the campaign begins PR-A focused effort to get out in the news the things that we do to leverage our influence to build the business Design/ Approve customer communication work: calendars, signs, flyers, posters & bag stuffers Track sales and report to the Executive Leadership Team Lead all aspects of Social Media engagement. Have a cohesive brand message. Meet monthly with the Operator for coaching and brainstorming about 30, 90, & 1 year Sales goals/plans. Plans will be in writing and organized so anyone could pick it up and run with it. Success Factors & Matching Measurements: ( How will you know this position has been successful?) Sales Increase-year over year, month over month, day over day. 3 Measurement areas: Customer Count (# and % increase) Check Average ($ and % increase) Adherence to budget spending as a % of sales Behavioral Characteristics: ( What specific behaviors should a person in this position have in order to achieve both MEASURED SUCCESS and the ORGANIZATIONAL IMPERATIVES?) Works for 15-25 hours/week (this role can also be 40+ if Full Time is desired) Works in and out of the restaurant Sees Marketing not as getting something from Our Customers, but something FOR them Sees potential in people and partners in the community.
