The position is located onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Palm Coast, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and optimize patient care in collaboration with office staff and interdisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive treatment plans.
• Maintain clear communication with pediatric patients and their families, discussing progress, challenges, therapeutic home programs, and any relevant issues to enhance their understanding of the care process.
• Identify the need for referrals, guiding patients and families towards additional services, resources, and support systems within the community.
• Consult with physicians to monitor patient progress, ensuring thorough documentation of treatment plans and evaluations to drive positive outcomes.
• Administer individualized treatment plans aimed at restoring function, enhancing mobility, alleviating pain, and preventing long-term disabilities in pediatric patients.
• Conduct comprehensive examinations and evaluations, implementing effective remedial treatments tailored to each child's unique needs.
• Deliver clinical interventions which include initial screenings, evaluations, direct treatment sessions, and education for families or caregivers about progress towards goals, strategies for home management, and discharge planning.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with pediatric patients, helping children recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, or enhance mobility and functionality through targeted therapies. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required; a Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• A valid Florida Physical Therapist license is essential for practice.
• Minimum one year of clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques and a strong grasp of anatomy and physiology are essential for patient assessment and treatment.
• Proven ability to work effectively with pediatric populations and an understanding of patient-centered care practices.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a rehabilitation facility with a focus on pediatric therapy.
• Familiarity with current hospital medicine practices and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Previous experience with home exercise programs and caregiver training can be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience.
