The Sheridan County YMCA is looking for a dependable, confident, and customer-focused Building Supervisor to oversee facility operations during evenings and weekends.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys leadership, has strong decision-making skills, and wants to make a positive impact in our community.ScheduleFridays: 4:30 PM – 7:00 PMSaturdays: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PMWhat You'll DoAs the Building Supervisor, you'll serve as the on-duty leader for the facility, ensuring members, guests, volunteers, and staff enjoy a safe, clean, and welcoming YMCA experience. Responsibilities include:Supervise facility operations during assigned shiftsConduct routine building and safety checksOpen and/or close the facility following established proceduresRespond to emergencies and incidents using YMCA protocolsSupport Member Services during busy periodsResolve member concerns professionally and courteouslyEnsure staff are at assigned posts and performing duties effectivelyReport maintenance and safety concernsEnforce YMCA policies while providing outstanding customer serviceComplete incident reports and communicate with leadership as neededWe're Looking For Someone Who Is:At least 21 years of ageCalm, confident, and able to make sound decisions under pressureFriendly, professional, and customer-service orientedAn effective communicator with strong conflict-resolution skillsReliable and dependableComfortable working independently while leading othersCustomer service experience is preferred.Training ProvidedThe YMCA will provide required certifications and training, including:CPR & First AidChild Abuse PreventionEmergency Action ProceduresOngoing YMCA leadership and safety trainingWhy Join the Y?At the Sheridan County YMCA, you'll be part of a mission-driven organization dedicated to strengthening our community through Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility.
