Program Coordinator, O'Donnell Brain Center (942822) Job Summary: This job works under minimal supervision to direct operation of program or project, exercising independent judgment and authority as required. Responsibilities Analyze, coordinate, and evaluate program operation and procedures. Develop or oversee the development of budget for program. Develop, cultivate, and maintain working relationships with internal/external departments/agencies and other organizations associated with and/or receiving benefit from program. Establish program goals and objectives and direct program evaluation and quality control activities; develop and/or approve schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving goals. Plan and coordinate special events; participate in conferences; present data and program information. Responsible for design, execution, and effectiveness of system of internal controls, which provides reasonable assurance that operations are effective and efficient, assets are safeguarded, and financial information is reliable. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. Read literature and attend functions to keep abreast of relevant scientific and technical developments related to program. May provide supervision to staff members. Perform other duties as assigned. Experience: Five years experience in an appropriate field or may consider additional years of experience in lieu of education.
