About the Role:

The Program Manager will lead and oversee complex programs from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder expectations. This role requires strategic planning, resource allocation, and budget management to deliver projects on time and within scope. The Program Manager will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage risks, and resolve issues to maintain program momentum and quality. Effective communication with internal teams, external partners, and senior leadership is essential to facilitate collaboration and transparency. Ultimately, the Program Manager will drive program success by balancing competing priorities and adapting to changing environments while maintaining a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in program management with a strong track record of managing budgets and resources effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to develop proposals and communicate complex information clearly in both written and oral formats.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and other project management software.
• Strong skills in crisis management and problem-solving within dynamic environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment within the United States.
• Advanced degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related discipline.
• Familiarity with support programs and their operational frameworks.
• Experience with resource management tools and methodologies beyond Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor program plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful delivery of program objectives.
• Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, facilitating communication and collaboration among stakeholders.
• Manage resource allocation and utilization to optimize program efficiency and effectiveness.
• Prepare and present program proposals, status reports, and documentation to senior management and external partners.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues, implementing crisis management strategies as needed.
• Utilize Microsoft Project and other tools to track progress, manage timelines, and report on program performance.
• Support the development and continuous improvement of program processes and best practices.

Skills:

The Program Manager will apply budget management skills daily to allocate financial resources efficiently and ensure program sustainability. Program management expertise will guide the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple interrelated projects, maintaining alignment with strategic goals. Proposal development and strong written and oral communication skills are essential for crafting compelling program plans and engaging stakeholders effectively. Crisis management abilities will be critical in identifying risks early and implementing solutions to minimize disruptions. Proficiency with Microsoft Project and resource management techniques will support detailed scheduling, tracking, and optimization of team efforts to achieve program milestones.
