Position Overview

The Director of Sales, Marketing & Events serves as the strategic architect of the resort's commercial success, leading an integrated sales, marketing, and events strategy that positions Andaz Miami Beach as one of South Florida's most sought-after luxury destinations.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, with strategic oversight from the Regional Vice President of Sales & Events, this executive leader will champion revenue growth, market share expansion, brand visibility, and guest engagement across all segments. Through innovative marketing initiatives, strategic partnerships, compelling storytelling, and targeted business development efforts, the Director will bring the resort's unique identity to life while maximizing the impact of the property's recent transformation.

This role calls for a dynamic commercial leader who understands both the art and science of luxury hospitality. The ideal candidate will leverage market intelligence, data-driven insights, and deep industry relationships to attract discerning leisure travelers, high-value group business, and exceptional events that align with the Andaz brand promise.

Leadership & Strategic Impact

As a key member of the executive leadership team, the Director of Sales, Marketing & Events will oversee all aspects of Sales, Marketing, and Events operations, including:

• Driving overall commercial strategy, revenue performance, and market positioning.
• Leading annual business planning, forecasting, budgeting, and departmental P&L performance.
• Developing innovative luxury marketing campaigns that elevate awareness, drive demand, and strengthen brand affinity.
• Cultivating strategic partnerships within the travel, lifestyle, entertainment, and luxury sectors to enhance visibility and market reach.
• Positioning the resort's newly transformed guestrooms and enhanced guest experience at the forefront of all sales and marketing initiatives.
• Ensuring exceptional execution across group sales, catering, event planning, and leisure travel channels.
• Delivering insightful and compelling presentations to ownership, highlighting revenue performance, market trends, forward-looking forecasts, and strategic opportunities.
