Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced hands on Production Manager to join our dynamic team in Fairfield, NJ. As a key player in our operations, you will oversee the production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day production operations to ensure timely and efficient output.
- Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
- Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as necessary to meet changing demands.
- Supervise quality assurance teams to maintain high standards of product quality.
- Lead and mentor production staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as logistics and procurement, to streamline operations.
- Bachelor's degree prefered or experience in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of production processes and quality control principles.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in data analysis and production management software.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
