Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Apple Valley, California. This role involves providing specialized care to neonatal patients in a Level III NICU, supporting premature and high-risk newborns. The position requires a dedicated clinician with neonatal experience and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift with 12-hour shifts, a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of related experience, including at least 1 year in the specialty; active BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications; California license (must be in hand); experience with electronic charting in Epic; experience in community hospitals; minimum 2 years of experience preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing PICC lines, Neonatal Sepsis, and Neonatal Resuscitation; proficiency with high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide therapy, and specialized neonatal equipment; exposure to Level III NICU procedures.
• Float: May float to neighboring units caring for neonatal patients if necessary.
• Additional Information: The facility supports neonatal patients including prematurity, RDS, sepsis, and feeding issues. Candidates should demonstrate skills in invasive monitoring, administration of blood products, respiratory support, and neonatal-specific procedures. Candidates are expected to work every other weekend, with the possibility of exceeding scheduled weekends to meet unit needs. Willingness to work 3 of 5 major holidays is required.
