Travel MRI Technologist - $2,350 per week

Job Details Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Start date: 08/02/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Hours: 40 per week. Shift: 8-hour night shifts. Employment type: Travel. Responsibilities Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications prior to procedure. Educate patients on MRI procedure and answer questions. Maintain, inspect, troubleshoot MRI equipment. Administer I.V. contrast media per protocol and monitor patients. Monitor image quality and adjust scanning parameters. Document procedure details in compliance with hospital policies. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers. Maintain a clean, organized workspace in compliance with infection control. Follow hospital safety rules including infection and radiation safety protocols. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of an MRI Technologist. Required Qualifications Successful completion of a Radiology program with MRI specialization. One year of experience as an MRI Technician. Valid Radiology/MRI license in compliance with state regulations. Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC). Preferred Qualifications Current ARRT or equivalent certification. Current ARMRIT or equivalent certification. Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position. Essential Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, good interpersonal communication skills. English literacy for reading/writing and communication. Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills. Physical abilities – remaining stationary, moving equipment up to 50‑100 lbs, pushing, pulling, bending. Interpersonal skills – effective work with professional and ancillary personnel, positive attitude. Technical / motor skills – fine manipulation, push/pull, assist with procedures and equipment. Mental requirements – cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work under close supervision optionally. Sensory – visual acuity and effective communication.
