Qualifications and Experience:

• Active California Physical Therapist (PT) license and up-to-date credentials required
• Previous experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong knowledge of physical therapy interventions for school-aged children
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
• Clear communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
• Adept at documentation, reporting, and tracking student progress

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students in line with IEPs and educational objectives
• Assess students’ mobility, motor skills, and needs to design effective treatment plans
• Consult with teachers, school staff, and parents to support students’ participation in classroom activities
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation as required by school and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights to support well-rounded educational experiences
• Adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse needs and help students achieve their goals
