Accountant | Brentwood, MO
We're currently partnered with a well-established local CPA firm in the Brentwood, MO area that is looking to add an Accountant to their growing team.
This is a great opportunity for someone seeking variety in their work, direct client exposure, and a more balanced public accounting environment without the extreme hours of a traditional firm.
What you'll be doing:
Assisting in planning and execution of tax and attest engagements
Preparing workpapers for tax returns, compilations, reviews, and audits
Supporting a range of tax services including planning, projections, and compliance
Conducting tax research and applying findings to client situations
Working directly with clients to provide high-quality service and guidance
What they're looking for:
Public accounting experience preferred
Experience preparing federal and state tax returns (corporate, partnership, individual, trusts, estates)
CPA or CPA-eligible preferred
Experience with QuickBooks and/or UltraTax is a plus
Strong communication and client-facing skills
