Community Outreach & Events Representative - Part-Time W-2 Employee Position summary: Genesis Breast Screening is seeking an experienced community outreach, healthcare marketing, or physician liaison professional with established relationships throughout South Tampa. This position focuses on building partnerships with Pilates studios, gyms, wellness businesses, salons, and community organizations. The representative will secure weekly pop-up opportunities, participate in selected community events, activate location-specific QR marketing materials, and help convert community awareness into scheduled, paid, and completed screenings. This is an active, field-based outreach position—not a brochure drop-off role. The successful candidate will be accountable for daily outreach, relationship development, QR-code activation, follow-up, CRM documentation, and measurable campaign results. Key responsibilities Develop relationships with Pilates studios, gyms, wellness centers, salons, and other South Tampa businesses Introduce Genesis Breast Screening using company-approved educational and marketing materials Identify, propose, and secure approximately one qualified pop-up opportunity per week Coordinate pop-up details with Genesis and participating community partners Identify community events that align with the Genesis audience and brand Attend occasional prearranged evening or weekend events Maintain regular communication with community partners Actively encourage appropriate QR-code engagement rather than simply leaving materials Track every visit, contact, follow-up, partnership, event, and QR activation in the designated CRM Submit accurate daily activity reports and weekly performance summaries Follow all privacy, brand, patient-communication, and healthcare-marketing requirement Location QR-code activation Each participating business, community partner, or event will receive a unique Genesis QR code used to measure marketing performance. The representative will be responsible for completing the activation process at each assigned location: Assign or confirm the correct location-specific QR code Verify that the QR code opens the approved Genesis information or scheduling page Use the approved test process so staff demonstration scans are not counted as patient conversions Identify a primary location contact who will oversee the materials Explain the purpose of the QR code and demonstrate the patient experience Provide the contact with Genesis-approved language for directing interested individuals to the QR code Secure visible, approved placement of the QR-coded materials Record the location code, contact, placement date, material type, and follow-up date in HubSpot or Zoho Mark the location as active only after testing, contact education, placement, and CRM documentation are complete Inspect, replace, or replenish materials during follow-up visits Review location-level scan and conversion activity Take corrective action when a location generates few or no scans Corrective action may include improving placement, replacing materials, reviewing the call to action with the location contact, identifying a new contact, or recommending that Genesis deprioritize the location. Daily accountability During a typical five-hour field shift, the initial expectations are: Complete five to seven in-person business visits Have at least two meaningful conversations with decision-makers or influential contacts Complete three to five scheduled follow-up calls or emails Complete at least two new QR activations or existing QR placement checks Test 100% of newly placed QR codes Enter 100% of visits and follow-ups in the CRM before the end of the shift Assign a documented next step and due date to each qualified contact Submit a concise end-of-shift activity report A completed visit must include an actual business contact, documented outcome, and next step. Leaving materials without speaking to an appropriate contact will not count as a completed visit. Weekly performance expectations Initial weekly expectations include: Complete approximately 20 to 24 documented business visits Have at least eight meaningful decision-maker conversations Establish at least one new qualified community partnership Secure approximately one confirmed pop-up event Complete all assigned follow-ups by their due dates Review QR performance for assigned locations Submit at least one recommendation for improving placement, messaging, or partner engagement Expectations may be adjusted based on scheduled hours, event responsibilities, territory conditions, and demonstrated market access. Conversion measurement Genesis will use unique location and event QR codes to track: Visits to the Genesis scheduling page Screenings completed Schedule-to-payment conversion rate Payment-to-completed-screening rate Performance by location, event, campaign, and representative The representative is accountable for properly activating each location, encouraging QR engagement, monitoring results, and improving underperforming placements. Although no employee can guarantee that an individual will schedule, ongoing conversion performance will be considered together with documented outreach, relationship quality, follow-up, CRM accuracy, and professional execution. Event responsibilities For each assigned pop-up or community event, the representative will: Confirm event details and responsibilities in advance Arrive and complete setup on time Test the event-specific QR code Ensure materials are displayed prominently Communicate the approved QR call to action Encourage interested attendees to scan for information or scheduling Document event activity and aggregate scan results Enter partner and event notes in the CRM Follow up with the event host within one business day Request an appropriate next step or future event opportunity The representative must not collect or store patient medical information in the CRM. Required qualifications At least three years of experience in community outreach, healthcare marketing, physician liaison work, wellness partnerships, event development, or outside business development Established professional relationships within the South Tampa wellness, fitness, beauty, or community-business market Working knowledge of HubSpot and Zoho CRM, including entering contacts, documenting activity, scheduling follow-ups, managing opportunities, and producing reports Demonstrated success developing partnerships and securing promotional, community, or educational events Experience working toward measurable outreach, engagement, or conversion goals Strong organization, follow-up, time-management, and reporting skills Professional appearance and excellent in-person communication skills Ability to work independently while meeting daily activity and reporting requirements Proficiency with email, digital calendars, Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, and mobile business applications Reliable transportation and the ability to travel throughout South Tampa Availability for occasional prearranged evening or weekend events Willingness to complete required privacy, brand, CRM, and healthcare-marketing training Ability to use only Genesis-approved materials, scripts, and service descriptions No conflicting employment, non-solicitation agreement, or other obligation that would prevent the employee from performing the position Preferred qualifications Experience representing a women’s-health, breast-health, imaging, wellness, or healthcare organization Existing relationships with South Tampa Pilates studios, fitness centers, wellness businesses, salons, and community organizations Experience using location-specific QR codes and campaign links Experience evaluating scan-to-schedule and other marketing-conversion results Familiarity with the South Tampa event and wellness community Part-time W-2 position Approximately 20 hours per week Generally structured as four five-hour shifts, subject to business and event needs Occasional prearranged evening or weekend hours Compensation: $40.00 per hour Benefits: not currently offered Initial 60-90-day introductory period Genesis Breast Screening is committed to professional, educational, ethical, and privacy-conscious community outreach.
