Plumber ForemanThis role leads commercial plumbing rough-in and finish work on a large, multi-floor construction project. You will oversee the installation of plumbing, sanitary, sewer, and water lines, coordinate teams in the field, and ensure all piping systems are installed safely, accurately, and in compliance with codes and site requirements.ResponsibilitiesPerform and oversee plumbing rough-in work across multiple large floors, including floor-to-floor and finish plumbing installations.Install, braze, and solder copper and black pipe for plumbing, sanitary, sewer, and water lines.Install and set main lines, including black pipe and other plumbing construction piping systems.Work with cast iron, PVC, and copper pipe, ensuring correct fitting, alignment, and secure connections.Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings to lay out and install plumbing systems accurately.Rough in commercial plumbing pipe and connect fittings according to plans, specifications, and applicable codes.Install sewer lines, sanitary lines, and water lines, ensuring proper slope, support, and testing as required.Ensure all plumbing work complies with safety regulations, site rules, and inspection requirements, including adherence to F60 and G60 responsibilities.Coordinate with the general contractor and other trades to meet project timelines and milestones.Maintain an organized, safe, and compliant work area, including proper handling and storage of tools and materials.Support and guide plumbing team members in proper brazing, soldering, and installation techniques.Monitor attendance, punctuality, and overall reliability on site, setting a strong example for the crew.Essential SkillsProven experience in commercial plumbing, including rough-in and finish work on large projects.Strong hands-on skills in plumbing installation, including cast iron, PVC, and copper pipe.Proficiency in brazing and soldering copper and other plumbing pipes.Experience installing black pipe, main lines, and complex plumbing construction systems.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings for plumbing layouts.Demonstrated experience roughing in commercial plumbing pipe and connecting fittings.Knowledge of installing sewer lines, sanitary lines, and water lines in a commercial environment.Understanding of mechanical, plumbing, and piping systems and how they integrate with other building systems.Valid F60 certification.Valid G60 certification.OSHA 30 certification.SST 10 certification.Strong awareness of safety practices and compliance requirements on construction sites.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrior experience working on large, multi-floor commercial projects.Comfort working on fast-paced projects with defined completion timelines.Ability to lead by example and support a culture of punctuality, reliability, and safety.Strong communication skills to coordinate with other trades and site supervision.Attention to detail when installing and verifying plumbing systems.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Ossining, NY.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $36.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
