Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care for patients recovering from surgery or procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assess patient recovery from anesthesia.
• Administer medications as prescribed and manage potential complications.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families about post-discharge care and instructions.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record system.

Qualifications

• Current CA RN License and BSN required.
• AHA BLS and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of PACU experience, including ability to float between pre-op and PACU.
• Prior experience with charting systems, Epic preferred.
• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center required.
• COVID-19 and booster vaccinations required, with exceptions for medical/religious reasons.
