Accounting Assistant

Responsibilities Process accounts payable transactions and ensure invoices are handled accurately and timely. Assist with daily cash position activities and support overall accounting operations. Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records. Support payroll processing and related administrative accounting functions. Handle supply purchasing, requisitions, and departmental support activities. Cross-train in multiple accounting functions to provide team support and operational flexibility. Benefits Offered Type: Temp to Hire. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, OR 2+ years of accounting experience. Previous experience with accounts payable, reconciliations, or general accounting functions preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to work with accounting systems, spreadsheets, and standard business software. Professional communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments. Clean background check and satisfactory personal credit history required.
