About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 18 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 18 months of permanent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience required. License: Must have a permanent Ohio license or a compact state license in hand. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required. Must-Have: - Minimum of 18 months of experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry. - Active BLS and ACLS certifications. - Permanent Ohio license or compact state license must be in hand. - One reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty being applied for is required. Description: This is an auto-offer position for a 36-hour work week with 12-hour night shifts from 7pm to 7:30am. Candidates must have a minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry. Active certifications in BLS and ACLS are required for consideration. The candidate must also possess either a permanent Ohio nursing license or a compact state nursing license. References must come from assignments worked in the past 12 months and cannot be from co-workers. All required certifications must be current and active at the time of submission. Candidates will need to complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation. A maximum of two attempts will be permitted to pass these assessments. Background checks will be reviewed, and candidates with open cases will not be considered. Nurses are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements, while all other travelers must be nicotine-free. Negative drug screens must be completed within 12 months prior to the start date and updated annually. Permanent and per diem candidates must be aware that returning to this facility is restricted for one year from their previous end date. BCI/FBI prints must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract. Candidates may remain on assignment for up to 18 months, following which a 6-month break is required before returning. Modules needed for pre-start and annual training will vary by specialty. Any time required beyond the billable hours for modules will not be compensated.
