Accounting Specialist
A well-established Fargo development and property management company is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our accounting department. This position is responsible for a variety of accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, cash management, and financial reporting support.
Responsibilities:
- Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions
- Assist with monthly and annual financial reporting
- Perform cash management and bank reconciliation functions
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
- Support accounting operations for multiple companies/entities
- Collaborate with internal team members to ensure timely and accurate financial processing
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
- Experience in a multi-company environment preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
Preferred Experience:
- Sage Intacct
- Sage 300
- Fortress software
- Property management or real estate accounting experience is a plus
Location: Fargo, ND
Employment Type: Full-Time; Monday - Friday; 100% In office position
