As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage site access, monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and drivers while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor and contractor access documentation, and maintain accurate access-control records.
• Control access to industrial facilities, restricted areas, and vehicle gates in accordance with established site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and access points to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
