Regional Sales Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to own an established medical device territory based in Denver, Colorado. The territory includes an active customer base of physicians, surgeons, ophthalmologists, dentists, hospitals, and medical schools throughout Colorado, South Dakota, North Dakota, portions of Montana, and select areas of Kansas and Nebraska. Responsibilities include managing existing accounts, conducting regular face-to-face visits, educating healthcare professionals on product solutions, identifying growth opportunities, and developing new business within the territory.

Requirements

• Must be vaccinated against COVID-19 to meet hospital credentialing requirements
• Ability to pass a drug screening
• Ability to successfully complete a background check
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Territory Overview

The representative must be based in the Denver area and will cover Colorado, South Dakota, North Dakota, portions of Montana, and select areas of Kansas and Nebraska.

This multi-state territory requires regular air and overnight travel throughout the region.

Travel Expectation

• Approximately 30% travel within the territory, including regular air and overnight travel
• About 4–6 nights away per month
• Attendance at approximately 4–6 medical conferences and industry events per year

The Opportunity

This role offers the opportunity to own an established medical device territory while growing existing customer relationships and developing new business across a large, multi-state region. It combines the independence of a home-based sales position with the opportunity to work directly with healthcare professionals and represent innovative medical device solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of an established account base and drive continued growth
• Build and maintain relationships with physicians, surgeons, ophthalmologists, dentists, hospitals, and medical schools
• Conduct regular face-to-face sales calls throughout the territory
• Lead in-person product demonstrations and clinical education sessions
• Identify new revenue opportunities within existing accounts
• Develop new business throughout the assigned territory
• Build strategic relationships with healthcare providers and key decision-makers
• Represent the company at industry conventions, trade shows, and medical conferences
• Consistently meet or exceed territory sales objectives

• Proven outside sales experience
• Strong new-business-development and relationship-building skills
• Ability to independently manage a large geographic territory
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Comfortable traveling regularly by air and spending nights away from home
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to take ownership of territory performance
