Plant Manager

Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily plant operations to ensure efficient and safe production Direct production activities to meet goals for output, quality, delivery, and cost Supervise department supervisors and employees, including scheduling, performance management, and employee development Coordinate foundry operations including molding, core making, melting/pouring, finishing, and machining Enforce standardized work procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements Monitor production processes and take initiative to resolve issues and improve efficiency Operate or oversee equipment including overhead cranes, forklifts, dollies, furnaces, and conveyor systems Qualifications: Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred Foundry experience preferred; steel industry experience a plus Pattern-making knowledge or experience preferred Strong focus on quality and attention to detail Excellent time-management and problem-solving skills Takes initiative and works well in a fast-paced environment Friendly, approachable, and hardworking High School Diploma or GED required Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work around heavy industrial equipment Additional information for the Custodial position Pay: $27-30 per hour Monday-Friday: 6 AM-3:30 PM Roseville, Michigan About Express Employment Professionals: As one of the leading staffing companies in North America, and Michigan, we’re ready to help you take the next step in your career.
