Our client is an established consumer products organization entering an exciting stage of growth and marketing transformation. They are seeking a Vice President of Marketing to elevate the brand, accelerate customer acquisition, strengthen loyalty, and build a modern marketing engine capable of driving measurable business results. This executive will have the opportunity to shape how the organization goes to market across digital and traditional channels, develop a high-performing team, and influence major commercial decisions alongside senior leadership.

Focus

• Set the enterprise marketing strategy and annual priorities, connecting brand investment, customer acquisition, communications, and lifecycle programs to broader growth objectives.
• Build, develop, and coach a high-performing marketing organization spanning brand, growth, creative, lifecycle, product marketing, and communications.
• Shape differentiated brand positioning, messaging, storytelling, and creative standards to deliver a cohesive customer experience across channels.
• Direct acquisition and retention strategies across paid, owned, and earned channels, continuously improving targeting, personalization, channel economics, and customer value.
• Partner with digital commerce, product, technology, and commercial leaders to strengthen conversion, measurement, and go-to-market execution for launches and strategic initiatives.
• Steward a significant marketing budget and establish executive-level measurement frameworks that connect investment decisions to acquisition efficiency, revenue contribution, retention, and brand health.
• Apply customer research, market analytics, competitive intelligence, and experimentation to improve segmentation, positioning, marketing effectiveness, and investment decisions.
• Serve as the senior marketing voice across the organization, aligning executive and cross-functional stakeholders while effectively managing agencies and external partners.

Skill Set

• 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including at least 5 years in senior leadership roles accountable for brand and growth outcomes.
• Demonstrated executive leadership building and scaling marketing organizations while producing measurable business growth through integrated paid, owned, and earned channels.
• Broad expertise across brand strategy, performance marketing, customer acquisition, lifecycle and CRM, measurement, significant budget ownership, and cross-functional leadership.
• Proven success developing and retaining high-performing teams while leading effectively within fast-moving consumer or omnichannel environments.
• Strong command of positioning, messaging, creative development, customer lifecycle strategy, and the principles required to build a consistent brand at scale.
• Fluency with marketing effectiveness measures including CAC, ROAS, attribution, conversion, retention, and customer lifetime value, combined with the financial acumen to optimize investments for profitable growth.
• Executive-level communication and influencing skills, with the ability to align senior stakeholders, navigate ambiguity, establish priorities, and drive disciplined execution.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related discipline. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
