Systems Administrator

Overview BlueWater Federal is looking for a Systems Administrator to support the BCITS III program at Arnold AFB. Responsibilities Maintain and support server infrastructure, including monthly reporting on server capacity, workloads, and future workloads. Manage servers and storage, including support for physical and virtual servers, clusters, print servers, SAN, EMC storage systems, virtualization, and backup systems. Perform server backup and restoration to ensure data can be recovered within 24 hours after a major failure. Monitor and tune servers on a 24/7 basis, including network connectivity, CPU, memory, disk space, uptime, response time, and web server availability. Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade servers while staying current on server technologies and service offerings through research, development, deployment, and training. Support SharePoint, websites, and administration by developing and maintaining websites that support web content management and keep information available to users. Support Morale, Welfare, and Recreation network servers by maintaining, monitoring, operating, and supporting server infrastructure in a stable environment for all service business systems. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in Windows Server and virtual environment administration, system hardening, and patch management, such as Security Technical Implementation Guide compliance. 3+ years of experience performing system administration functions, including Windows Server and virtual machines, data center management, information technology preventive maintenance, and system hardening. Microsoft or Red Hat certification required. Security + certification required. Must have an active Secret clearance. BlueWater Federal is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
