Elation Physical Therapy is seeking a physical therapist who is looking for more than a job. Elation Physical Therapy is a community-based outpatient physical therapy practice with a strong commitment to inclusive, affirming, patient-centered care. Our practice is known for creating a welcoming environment for LGBTQ+ patients, including transgender and gender-diverse individuals, as well as people who may not have felt safe, seen, or respected in traditional healthcare settings. We also serve the broader community with orthopedic, post-operative, pelvic health, wellness, and general rehabilitation needs. This position is intentionally unique. The right candidate will provide excellent clinical care while also learning the business, administrative, leadership, and community engagement aspects of running a private practice. This may include involvement in patient care, documentation, marketing, community outreach, referral relationship development, operations, insurance processes, quality improvement, team leadership, and long-term strategic planning. We are looking for someone who understands that a community-based practice does not end when the last patient leaves the clinic. Elation Physical Therapy participates in local Pride events, Chamber of Commerce meetings, advocacy efforts, educational opportunities, and community service. Our clinic has served as a voting site and continues to look for meaningful ways to contribute to the people and neighborhoods we serve. We are not a “treat patients and go home” clinic. We are a healthcare practice with a mission, a presence, and a responsibility to our community. The ideal candidate is someone who is clinically curious, emotionally intelligent, dependable, and interested in long-term professional growth. This person should be comfortable working with diverse populations and should have a genuine respect for LGBTQ+ individuals, inclusive healthcare, and culturally responsive care. Prior experience in LGBTQ+ health is welcome but not required; a willingness to learn, listen, and practice affirming care is essential. This role may be especially appealing to someone who has considered practice ownership, leadership, entrepreneurship, or building something meaningful within healthcare. You do not need to know everything about running a business on day one. However, you should be interested in learning how a private practice operates beyond the treatment room. Over time, the right person may have opportunities to participate in decision-making, program development, staff development, community partnerships, and future succession planning. Responsibilities may include: Providing high-quality, evidence-informed physical therapy evaluation and treatment Creating a safe, affirming, and respectful environment for all patients Working with LGBTQ+ patients, including transgender and gender-diverse individuals, with sensitivity and professionalism Participating in administrative and practice management activities Supporting community outreach, education, and relationship-building efforts Helping develop programs, services, and systems that improve patient care and clinic operations Contributing to a positive, inclusive, and mission-aligned workplace culture Learning the business side of private practice, including operations, marketing, referral development, scheduling, documentation, insurance, compliance, and financial sustainability Representing Elation Physical Therapy in the community with professionalism and authenticity We recognize that this type of role is not for everyone, and that is okay. Base compensation is expected to fall within the range of $75,000–$95,000 annually, depending on experience, clinical skill set, leadership potential, and interest in practice management.
