Sales Consultant B2B needed

Job Summary

A growing technology solutions provider in Pflugerville, TX is seeking a motivated Sales Consultant B2B to expand client relationships across the Greater Austin market. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a consultative B2B sales professional who enjoys developing long-term business relationships, identifying customer challenges, and presenting technology-driven solutions that help businesses operate more efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Build new B2B relationships through outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, and local business development activities.
- Manage and grow existing accounts with a focus on long-term client success, retention, and revenue expansion.
- Use a consultative sales approach to align managed IT, commercial AV, managed print, and business process automation solutions with customer needs.
- Partner with internal technical specialists to support demonstrations, proposals, scopes of work, and solution recommendations.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline activity, customer updates, and sales reporting.
- Consistently work toward revenue goals while leveraging leadership coaching, training, and internal support resources.

Compensation and Benefits

- Direct hire opportunity.
- Base salary range provided: $50,000 to $60,000 per year.
- Total earning potential provided: $80,000 to $160,000 per year.
- Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission.
- Typical first-year on-target earnings: $80,000 to $140,000+.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Develop new business opportunities across the Greater Austin B2B market.
- Manage account growth, customer retention, and long-term client relationships.
- Present technology solutions including managed IT, commercial AV, managed print, and business process automation.
- Collaborate with technical resources to build proposals, demonstrations, and customer-specific recommendations.

- 3 to 5 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in B2B sales, technical sales, business services, or solution-based selling.
- Strong prospecting, networking, relationship-building, and account management skills.
- Ability to uncover business needs and communicate value through a consultative sales approach.
- Comfortable discussing technology solutions with business decision-makers and partnering with technical specialists.
- CRM proficiency with the ability to manage pipeline activity, sales reporting, and customer follow-up.
- Goal-oriented mindset with strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative, team-focused sales environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience selling managed IT, commercial AV, managed print, document management, business process automation, or related technology solutions.
- Existing business relationships or local market knowledge in the Greater Austin area.
- Experience managing a full sales cycle from prospecting through proposal, closing, and account expansion.
- Background in printing, publishing, office technology, or business services sales.
