Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

Overview Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $60,000 to $80,000 per year. Responsibilities Process and review accounts payable transactions to ensure timely and accurate payment processing. Reconcile vendor accounts and investigate discrepancies by working with internal teams and external partners. Maintain vendor records and supporting documentation while ensuring compliance with company requirements. Support construction and project related accounting activities by tracking contracts, change orders, and payment documentation. Prepare recurring reports and assist with process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Requirements 4+ years of accounts payable experience in a professional environment. Previous experience within construction, real estate, development, or similar industries. Familiarity with construction related documentation and payment processes. Prior experience using Yardi or similar accounting and property management systems. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Qualifications Excellent organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate financial records. Strong communication skills for collaborating with vendors, project teams, and internal stakeholders. Advanced spreadsheet and reporting skills.
