Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, facilitating an in-depth understanding of individual needs and challenges.
• Design and implement tailored treatment programs that address a wide array of patient cases, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine rehabilitation.
• Provide high-quality therapeutic care and education to patients and their caregivers, demonstrating effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Utilize evidence-based methodologies and performance metrics to optimize treatment effectiveness and meet minimum utilization goals.
• Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere by consistently delivering exceptional customer service, encouraging patient motivation and engagement.
• Participate in team meetings and consultations to share insights and strategies aimed at enhancing the overall health and wellness of our patient population.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Deaconess, you will work closely with a diverse range of patients, from children requiring pediatric interventions to adults recovering from orthopedic surgeries and athletes aiming to regain peak performance levels. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active state license to practice as a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of two years of hands-on clinical experience in a physical therapy setting.
• Current CPR certification to ensure a safe treatment environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with patients and family members.
• Proficiency in electronic healthcare records and word processing software.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
