Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions including reviewing medical histories, performing physical assessments, and documenting findings to create tailored treatment plans.
• Effectively communicate evaluation results and treatment strategies to patients and their families, fostering collaboration in setting achievable therapy goals.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols based on each patient's unique needs, continuously adjusting strategies as the patient's condition evolves.
• Proactively consult with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care, recognizing and effectively documenting any changes in the patient's health that may necessitate a modification in their treatment plan.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient interactions, including detailed evaluations, daily treatment notes, and discharge summaries that reflect the patient's progress and care pathway.
• Demonstrate exceptional time management skills while balancing patient schedules to meet productivity benchmarks and actively participate in outreach activities to promote community engagement.
• Contribute to departmental objectives and participate in compliance with all applicable regulations and accreditation standards to maintain the highest level of care.
• Pursue ongoing professional development opportunities, including attending workshops and serving as a clinical instructor to students as needed.
• Enhance patient access and satisfaction by using flexibility and adaptability in treatment plans and interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The role primarily serves outpatient clients seeking rehabilitation for a variety of conditions including neurological disorders, orthopedic injuries, sports-related injuries, and post-surgical recoveries. This diverse patient population means you will implement tailored therapeutic techniques designed to enhance mobility, decrease pain, and restore physical function. Qualifications

• Current Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid Physical Therapy license in the State of New Jersey.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting is preferred.
