Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, including the collection of detailed medical histories, performance of functional assessments, and the development of comprehensive treatment recommendations.
• Clearly communicate evaluation results and treatment plans to patients and their families, ensuring they are engaged in the goal-setting process that guides their recovery.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to individual patient presentations, which may involve a range of modalities including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and education on injury prevention.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists to provide the best possible outcomes for patients.
• Monitor patient progress, documenting improvements and setbacks accurately while adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on clinical observations and patient feedback.
• Participate actively in departmental meetings and case discussions to enhance therapeutic approaches and share insights with colleagues.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations to continually refine your skills and improve patient care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes individuals recovering from foot and ankle surgeries, sprains, strains, and chronic conditions such as plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendinitis. You will work primarily with adults and seniors who are motivated to regain mobility and alleviate pain to enhance their quality of life. Building rapport and trust with patients is crucial, as your role directly impacts their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Strong clinical assessment skills with a comprehensive understanding of musculoskeletal anatomy and rehabilitation methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to patients and work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
• A commitment to continuing education and professional development in the field of physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in outpatient physical therapy, with a focus on foot and ankle rehabilitation, is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
