Position Overview Working closely with the Project Manager, the Assistant Project Manager will play an integral role in the successful delivery of a major multifamily residential project. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. Responsibilities Assist in managing all phases of construction from project startup through closeout Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and owner representatives Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, contracts, and project documentation Assist with procurement, budgeting, cost tracking, and monthly requisitions Monitor project schedules and help maintain project milestones Work closely with field staff to resolve issues and support daily construction operations Attend project meetings and prepare meeting minutes and follow-up action items Maintain accurate project records utilizing Procore and other project management software Help ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to Griffon’s high standards of quality Qualifications - 5–7+ years of experience in commercial construction with a focus on ground-up multifamily residential projects - Experience on projec ts of 100+ residential units strongly preferred - Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, scheduling, procurement, and project controls - Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Office, and standard construction management software - Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills - Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred Why Griffon Construction?
