About the Team Our Executive Operations team includes Executive Business Partners and Administrative Business Partners who act as trusted advisors and collaborators to OpenAI’s executives and leaders. We focus on strong communication, operational excellence, and the efficiency of leadership by anticipating needs, streamlining processes, and providing comprehensive support. About the Role We are seeking an Executive Business Partner to support the VP of Global Ad Solutions as OpenAI builds its first advertising business. This role is based in New York and uses a hybrid work model of three days in the office per week with relocation assistance available. Key Responsibilities Build strong connections within the immediate team and across departments, becoming a trusted partner to leaders. Share information clearly and efficiently, adapting communication styles for diverse audiences. Manage a dynamic executive calendar, making thoughtful trade‑offs across internal priorities, customer and agency engagements, travel, and industry events. Coordinate closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, Policy, and GTM partners to keep high‑stakes workstreams, meetings, and follow‑through moving smoothly. Operate with discretion and independence, proactively optimizing processes and flagging risks while ensuring sensitive information is handled confidentially. Qualifications 6‑14 years of experience in an executive support role. Supported multiple leaders with complex, highly cross‑functional teams. Experience working with customer‑facing teams (Sales or Marketing) in a high‑growth startup or similar environment. Managed and optimized extremely busy calendars. Extreme attention to detail and mastery of project‑based tools and tracking deliverables. Exceptional communication skills, tailoring messages for specific audiences. Professionalism and discretion, understanding the balance between transparency and confidentiality. Independent task‑level operator with a one‑team mindset and strong partnership and collaboration skills. Extremely fluent in Slack, Google Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Gmail, and other modern productivity software, and eager to learn new tools. Genuine interest in OpenAI’s technology and the transformative potential of AI. Comfortable working in a rapidly changing, ambiguous environment. Location & Work Model New York, NY.
