KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Direct plant-wide production control and supply chain activities to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
• Plan material requirements and coordinate with suppliers, purchasing, production, sales, I/T, and production planning teams to maintain an efficient flow from customer demand through final delivery.
• Oversee inventory activities covering purchased parts, work-in-process, and completed products.
• Track inventory performance and drive improvements toward Days on Hand targets.
• Manage the Production Control organization, including both salaried and hourly employees.
• Review shipping and receiving operations, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions when process issues occur.
• Develop operating procedures, department plans, and improvement activities that enhance overall efficiency.
• Support annual planning for Production Control expenses, capital requirements, and labor costs.
• Incorporate Lean principles into daily operations and continuous improvement efforts.
• Evaluate supplier management practices and introduce proven best practices where beneficial.
• Ensure employees understand and follow company policies and procedures.
• Oversee warehouse functions, including receiving and shipping, in accordance with established production system standards.
• Provide schedule flexibility for off-shift work and overtime when required.
• Travel as necessary for training.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or an Associate's degree combined with extensive relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing Production Control or Inventory Control functions.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems, MRP, and data analysis.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership abilities.
• Ability to effectively manage priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
