Pharmacy Tech
This is a 3+ months contract with possibilities of extension. The training shift is Monday to Friday from 8am to 4:30pm. The permanent shift is Monday to Thursday from 9am to 5:30pm and Friday from 8am to 4:30pm. This is an onsite position in San Antonio, TX 78238 with potential to move to remote/offsite. Candidates MUST be available to work onsite.
Position Summary:
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Candidate must reside in the state of Texas.
- A secure room free from noise and distractions, with a closing door and ergonomic-friendly work area (i.e., desk, chair).
- Must have your own internet provider that can support the virtual working environment.
- Data Entry
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)
- Strong attention to detail while multitasking through various programs.
- Adept at reading and interpreting prescription terminology and medications.
- Direct/hardwired internet connection to a modem/router within 10 feet of your computer and a minimum speed of 25 mbs download and 3 mbs upload. Wi-Fi and satellite are not permitted.
- Secure and private home workspace free from distractions
Experience: Minimum of 3-6 months related pharmacy technician experience. Education: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
