Tier 1 IT Support Technician

Complete Computing Solutions is looking for a full-time Tier 1 IT Support Technician to join our growing team in Texarkana.

This is an entry-level IT position for someone who enjoys helping people, solving problems, and building a career in technology. The right candidate does not need to know everything on day one, but they must be dependable, professional, willing to learn, and comfortable communicating with clients.

Position Overview

The Tier 1 IT Support Technician will be one of the first points of contact for clients experiencing technical issues. This person will answer support calls, create and manage service tickets, troubleshoot common technology problems, document their work, and escalate issues when necessary.

Our goal is not simply to close tickets. We want every client to feel that their issue is understood, owned, and handled professionally.

Primary Responsibilities

• Answer incoming technical-support calls and emails
• Create accurate and detailed service tickets
• Troubleshoot common hardware, software, network, and Microsoft 365 issues
• Support Windows workstations, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
• Assist with password resets, account access, email, Outlook, and authentication issues
• Set up new computers, user accounts, and employee workstations
• Install approved software and perform basic system maintenance
• Provide remote support and occasional on-site assistance
• Keep clients informed about ticket status and next steps
• Document troubleshooting, work performed, and resolution details
• Monitor assigned tickets and follow through until completion
• Escalate issues promptly when Tier 2 or Tier 3 assistance is needed
• Follow CCS security, documentation, and service-delivery standards

Preferred Qualifications

The following experience is helpful but not required:

• Help desk or technical-support experience
• Degree, certification, or coursework in information technology
• Microsoft 365 and Outlook support
• Windows 10 and Windows 11
• Active Directory or Microsoft Entra ID
• Basic networking, Wi-Fi, DNS, and DHCP knowledge
• Computer setup, repair, and troubleshooting
• Experience using a ticketing or remote-monitoring platform
• CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or similar certifications

Recent graduates and candidates beginning their IT careers are encouraged to apply.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time, primarily on-site position based in Texarkana. Normal working hours are Monday through Friday during regular business hours. Occasional after-hours or on-call work may be required as the employee develops in the position.
