Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Wellpower, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and diagnoses for individuals, couples, and families seeking therapeutic services.

• Developing personalized treatment plans that outline therapeutic goals and interventions tailored to the unique needs of each client.

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions focused on various issues such as relationship dynamics, grief, trauma, and family conflict.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and systems theory, to guide therapeutic interventions.

• Monitoring and documenting client progress, maintaining accurate records in our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Providing referrals and recommendations for specialized services as needed, ensuring that clients receive comprehensive care.

• Supporting clients in building coping strategies and enhancing their emotional resilience.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will center on a diverse clientele facing a range of challenges, such as:

• Issues stemming from alcohol abuse and substance use disorders.
\n
• Experiences of physical and psychological trauma, providing trauma-informed care.
\n
• Navigating grief and loss, aiding clients in processing their emotions and finding closure.

• Managing conflicts and cut-offs between family members, including blended families and issues arising from remarriage.

• Helping clients cope with job-related stress and other medical or psychological concerns affecting their daily lives.

• Facilitating support for individuals going through significant life transitions, such as separation and divorce.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• An active and unrestricted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
