Human Resources Manager

Seeking an empathetic, HR Manager to lead full-cycle HR operations for a premier manufacturing facility in Bohemia, NY. Salary: $105K -$110K. This 100% onsite role requires a compassionate listener with expertise in ADP payroll, NY labor compliance, and employee relations. You will oversee onboarding, benefits, handbook management, and annual audits while fostering a supportive workplace culture. Prior manufacturing/operations experience required; NetSuite familiarity a plus. Excellent benefits including 50% health match, PTO, personal days, and 401(k) match.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Core HR & Employee Relations

• Employee Advocacy & Relations: Serve as an accessible sounding board across departments; resolve grievances and foster a supportive environment.

• Onboarding & Orientations: Facilitate engaging new-hire orientations, training, and integration processes.

• Policy & Handbook Management: Update and maintain the employee handbook to reflect culture, state regulations, and company changes.

• SOP Development & Coaching: Write and maintain HR SOPs; coach leadership and staff on operational standards and best practices.

Payroll, Benefits & HRIS

• Payroll Processing: Oversee accurate payroll administration via ADP Payroll for onsite and out-of-state team members.

• Benefits Administration: Manage enrollments for United Health (50/50 match), vision, dental, and 401(k) programs.

• Software Implementation: Partner with leadership on system rollouts (e.g., NetSuite integration) and maximize ADP features.

Compliance & Operations

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, local, and NY state labor laws across all personnel locations.

• Annual Audits: Lead annual HR and payroll audits to maintain accurate documentation, file integrity, and labor compliance.

• Cross-Departmental Alignment: Collaborate with Controller, Payroll, and Production Managers to streamline operational workflows.
