Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients, taking note of their biopsychosocial needs to develop effective treatment plans.

• Provide individual, family, couples, and group psychotherapy sessions that are tailored to the unique circumstances and needs of each patient.

• Engage in program planning alongside the psychiatry team and contribute insights regarding treatment methodologies.
\n
• Act as a lead therapist in both individual and group therapy settings, fostering a welcoming environment that encourages patient participation and engagement.

• Monitor and document patient progress, utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems to keep accurate and up-to-date records.

• Collaborate with both outpatient and inpatient teams to conduct triage evaluations and crisis interventions, ensuring immediate support for those in need.

• Uphold the highest ethical standards in your practice, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and relevant regulatory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with clients facing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our diverse patient population consists of individuals from different backgrounds and age groups, allowing you to apply a variety of therapeutic techniques and approaches.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado.

• At least two years of experience in counseling, preferably within a clinical context.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards related to the counseling profession.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with clients and their families.
\n
• Ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team and contribute to a positive work environment.

• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) software and other relevant technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

West Valley Psychiatric Services offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to the salary, we provide a sign-in bonus for eligible candidates.
